The faeries below have been sold, but they give you an idea of what I have done and can do for your customized creation (bearing in mind that a custom doll based off one below may look similar, but will not be the same).

PLEASE NOTE: RavenCrow dolls are not intended for small children or for play purposes. They have small parts and features (hair and wings, for instance) that can be damaged by rough handling.

Sunburst--Rescued from the "Available" section, Sunburst was created for the faire I did at Kindred Spirits. She had many admirers, but as is usually the case, she lost out to the customized dolls. She will now be joining three of her sisters in a good home. Sunburst has a sunburst patterned yellow body and golden wings. 4mm buttons joint her elbows and knees; she is also jointed at the shoulders and hips.

Estelle-- This faerie was made for my grandmother who always watched, with particular interest and lament, the lavendar faeries that went to other homes. 4mm buttons joint her elbows and knees; she is also jointed at the shoulders and hips.

Morgan Le "Fae"--One of my favorites! As I made this faerie, "Morgan" kept coming to mind. This doll has ice blue eyes that have never "happened" on any other doll, despite using the same pens I always use. Just like her namesake, Morgan Le Fey, she has an air of strength and mystery, and maybe a little mischief. Morgan has a turquoise body with a small swirl pattern. Three silver bells rest on the top-front of her forehead, like a crown. 4mm buttons joint her elbows and knees; she is also jointed at the shoulders and hips.

Red Leaf--Custom order faerie. The buyer of this doll requested a red doll with blonde hair and green eyes--not the easiest combination without looking like Christmas! This doll does indeed have the hair and eye color requested; her body is a gold and black pattern on red. Gold leaves in hair and around waist. 4mm buttons joint her elbows and knees; she is also jointed at her shoulders and hips.

Gwen--Custom order faerie. Talk about nerves...this one was made for my college mentor as a gift for one of her loved ones. Green-eyed Gwen represents a woman who loves to garden and be in nature, hence the browns and greens (her hair is even a color called "Earth"! What isn't in this picture is the handmade sunflower wand that I made for Gwen, which was painted in mustard yellow, dark brown, copper, and a stem of medium green (should have taken a picture before I packed her up to ship). 4mm buttons joint her elbows and knees; she is also jointed at her shoulders and hips.

Maiden, Mother, Crone-- Purchased as a set. Maiden dressed in tattered and burned light green organza around hair, chest, skirt, and feet. Brown hair and green eyes. Irridescent green wings. Hair clasped with a dragonfly. Mother's body in a burnt orange fabric with autumn leaf print. Rust colored hair with orange and red sphere crown. Pregnant belly and brown/amber wings. Crone's body and lining of cloak in a swirly print of grey, brown, and black--like a mysterious smoke. Silver-grey hair fastened with a wooden turtle button. Silver wings with touches of brown. 4mm buttons joint each doll's elbows and knees; they are also jointed at the shoulders and hips.

Cameron-- This doll was made for the sister of pink Cassie. The girl that this faerie was made for is more serious in her take of the world and doesn't like "girlie" things. Cameron was made a little more "outdoorsish," with dark browns, and golds; in person her wings look like leaves. She has red hair, brown eyes and bells on her toes much like the intended, who has a tendency to tell on herself ;) Gold and brown burned organza strips are wrapped throughout her hair. 4mm buttons joint her elbows and knees; she is also jointed at the shoulders and hips.

Lucky Dragon--This is the only doll I've ever made with a golden twinkle in her eye. She is also the only faerie I've ever given this hairstyle. Lot's of personality. This doll does not have hinged elbows or knees. Veins in her wings are hand-set wire. Lucky has a red and gold patterned body, glittery clear wings with gold wire, brown eyes, and black hair.
