gebrochene augen--First thing first. I love my husband and his band, gebrochene augen. He's released his 2nd CD, "prufüng" and you can find his ambient, industrial, dark music here! Downloadable on iTunes, and Amazon, streaming on LastFM, and played on KUCR and SOMA

FrankenMusik--(Also my husband.) Monster Boxes (analog drone synths), circuit bent keyboards and other circuit bent toys. Combining his degree, his love of making music and his lust for creating something from nothing, my husband has launched his own line, sold privately and through eBay auctions. Wicked sounds--some like a lawn mower ripping up outer space and some almost EVP in sound. All amazing.

Sareka Cambodian Children's Arts/Sareka House--There are things in this world that you know are real but become all the more immediate when someone you respect shows a passion for it--it becomes contagious; this is how I came to discover Sareka Cambodian Children's Arts (thank you Shelby). From their website: Sareka House is "a charitable organization registered in Cambodia under no. 158. Founded in 2007 by Director Peng Sokha, Sareka's aim is to improve the lives some of Cambodia's most disadvantaged people - the families, specifically their children, who live and work on the dumpsite of Sihanoukville. The name Sareka is chosen after the Cambodian Myna bird. To Cambodians, Sareka is much more than just a talking bird: it is a creative voice - a voice that we are dedicated to giving the children of Cambodia." With donations and the purchases of the children's paintings, a proper bathroom and well were recently completed for the children at Sareka House, and with more financial help it will only get better. Please take the time to become acquainted with Sareka House and consider purchasing one of the paintings/cards or making a donation! (Those are my crow paintings from Sareka! The children had never seen crows, but were shown pictures and painted this, totally capturing the spirit and attitude of crows! Wonderful.)

Dollmakers--There are a few doll makers out there who have held my utmost respect and awe for awhile--Pixiwillow for a few years. I have to say I am amazingly honored and shocked that they have linked to my page--it's like getting my picture taken with a celebrity, man.

Sullivan J Photography--Photographer extraordinaire, with a BA in Art, emphasis on Photography, Janice Sullivan has a beautiful line of stock photos. Janice also has an extensive blog on close-up and macro-photography here.

Other important stuff...I'm a tree-hugging, animal loving believer that even little things make a difference. "Freekibble.com" and "Freekibblekat.com" were created by a 12 year-old Oregon girl. Play daily trivia and feed hungry shelter dogs and cats. For The Animal Rescue Site, one click feeds and cares for shelter animals. Visit all three daily!
